Abstract:

The nereidid fauna of Todos Santos Bay was studied. In this paper we describe two species of Nereis that are new to science. Nereis fauchaldi belongs to the species group with the dorsal ligule expanded in posterior parapodia, and homogomph falcigers with smooth blades. Nereis imajimai belongs to the species group with the dorsal ligule short in posterior parapodia, and homogomph falcigers with short and dentate blades.
