Prostomium anteriorly truncated. Branchiae 2 pairs. All branchiae similar, all smooth, none basally flanged. Branchiae arranged in transverse line. Paleae on segment 3 absent. Dorsal crest absent. Nuchal (post branchial) hooks on segment 4 absent. Notochaetae present from segment 5. Neuropodia present, first torus longer than subsequent thoracic tori. Segments 3–6 without neurochaetae. Number of pairs of thoracic uncinigers 12.
