SUMMARY
The largest specimen measures 23 mm, by 3 mm, at the widest part for 29 chaetigers, of which 15 are thoracic and 14 abdominal. The trilobed prostomium has a wide median lobe. The tentacles are smooth and there are no paleae. Four pairs of branchiae. They are arranged in two groups of three, widely separated in the median line, and joined by a free fold of the integument; the fourth gill is situated well apart from the rest, just above the second notopod, and in line with the outermost gill of the second segment.
The two median pairs of gills are the largest, and reach back to about the seventh chaetiger. The first notopod lying in the third segment is reduced. The thoracic hooks begin at the fourth chaetiger. The thirteenth notopod is shifted to a dorso-lateral position. The bristles are bordered capillaries, and those of the 13th notopod have fine, hirsute tips. The thoracic hooks have three vertical rows of about four teeth, below which is a single, large, median denticle. The abdominal hooks are short and stout from in front, and have four verical rows of about three teeth. No trace of notopods above the abdominal pinnules. The anus has a crenate edge and a pair of lateral, subulate papillae (? cirri) in line with the neuropodial pinnules.
