SUMMARY
Prostomium anteriorly truncated, trilobed. Buccal tentacles smooth. Prostomial dorsal glandular ridges absent. Branchiae 4 pairs. All branchiae similar, all smooth, none basally flanged. Only last pair of branchiae clearly associated with a specific segment. Paleae on segment 3 present, long. Dorsal crest present, on either segments 8 or 9 or on segment 14. Nuchal (post branchial) hooks on segment 4 absent. Notopodia with one pair elevated, on chaetiger(s) 11–12. Notochaetae both smooth and distally hirsute, present from segment 3. Notochaetae of chaetiger 11 are modified, being shorter and distally hirsute; the notopodia of chaetiger 11 are connected by a ciliated dermal ridge across the dorsum. Neuropodia present, tori of similar length throughout thorax. Segments 3–6 without neurochaetae. Number of pairs of thoracic uncinigers 12. Abdominal notopodial rudiments present. Anal cirri absent.
