SUMMARY
Prostomium anteriorly truncated, trilobed. Buccal tentacles smooth. Oral membrane smooth and folded. Prostomial dorsal glandular ridges absent. Branchiae 4 pairs. All branchiae similar, all smooth, none basally flanged. Branchiae in two groups inserted mid-dorsally, connected basally. Paleae on segment 3 present, short. Dorsal crest absent. Nuchal (post branchial) hooks on segment 4 absent. Notopodia with one pair elevated, on chaetiger(s) 13. Notochaetae both smooth and distally hirsute, present from segment 3. Notochaetae of chaetiger 13 modified with long plumed tips. Neuropodia present, tori of similar length throughout thorax. Segments 3–6 without neurochaetae. Number of pairs of thoracic uncinigers 12. Abdominal notopodial rudiments present. Anal cirri present, 1 pair.
