Prostomium with antennae and palps; palps simple. Pharynx with bifid terminal papillae present. Subterminal papillae present. Pharynx with 18–22 rows of subdistal papillae. Verrucae present, or absent. Dorsal interramal cirri present, curve outward initially. Dorsal interramal cirrus without basal digitiform process, or with basal digitiform process. Ventral interramal cirri absent. Specialised dentate chaetae absent from notopodium of chaetiger 1. Barred chaetae present in preacicular fascicles. Lyrate chaetae absent. Spinose post-acicular chaetae present, or absent. Spinulose post-acicular chaetae present, or absent. Capillary chaetae present, or absent.
